However, because of our protagonist, Kousei Arima, the symbolism behind the piano and classical music packs a major punch. All of these themes are tied to each of the main characters and amplified with their individual passions. These themes never compete for your attention they flow in and out of each other. The themes of loss, grieving, growing up and, first loves work seamlessly together. And to make it even better I’ll keep this review spoiler free. But don’t worry, take my hand, I have kleenex and, you’ll be okay. I know this review is late but forgive me! I just finished up crying over this show. If the story does not tug at your heartstrings, which I doubt it won’t, the beauty of this anime will have you enthralled.
